INSTRUMENTATION: String Orchestra

 

NOTES: An arrangement for string orchestra of the third movement of my first string quartet, ‘Bodnant’.  ‘POEM’ is an acronym for ‘Place of Eternal Memory’.  This text is inscribed on a sandstone band above the entrance to the family mausoleum which sits in the grounds of the garden at Bodnant, on an outcrop of rock at the end of the valley known as the Dell.
